Converting a conservation shophouse into a home has some restriction due to the age of the structural supports
and also the need to take care of the architectural outlook of the shophouse.However this project was able to
not only keep the existing structure but also further enhanced the beauty of the beam structures into the design
of this home.
How this theme of design came about was purely due to the client’s love of antics & art pieces. To match his collections
we turned this home into a an escape into another place out of Singapore.
A place where passive ventilations flows through the home,creating a home a home carbon emmission free.
Everything designed in this home is made to look raw and natural, noting the vanity in the bathroom made of concrete.

What is beautiful about this home was the masterpiece of the sentence above.
To create this look, we look into the details of the tiles to make every cross in between each tile inlay-ed with
a smaller piece of diamond angled tile.Colour tinted decorative glass is used in the windows of this home to further bring out the concept.
This melting pot of design created a home that is not only unique in design yet also brings out the homely feel.
